Merry Christmas!!!!

Merry Christmas!! We had a great day, today. The boys got everything and plus some. Jordan got some parts for his computer he is building, and some gift cards, to buy parts for the computer. I got some clothes, gift cards, a scrapbooking kit from my sister and some cricuit cartridges from Jordan's mom. This year for Lina I made her a scrapbook of her dog Pat that passed away a few months ago. I know she still misses him and was upset the other day she could not find her pictures of him on her computer. So I went onto her slide account copied her slideshow of Pat, and printed them. I did this all without her knowing. She loved the book, and she has us all crying. For Jordan's mom I made her a picture book of the boys from last December to November 2007. She loved it! I also made her a calender and a tag brag book of the boys playing in the snow. So today was a great day besides Brayden now has pink eye!

This is my new obession, it is a Sony Dslr Camera. I am hoping to get it this Febuary. Then I would love to tke Pictures of people for free! So if anyone wants any photos taken just let me know and we'll set something up. I am really wanting to get in to taking wedding and baby photos. I am going to try and find a photographer to work under for a while and learn everything I need to learn from them. If anyone knows someone looking for a 2nd photographer let me know! :)

Black and White photos

I love Black and White photos. I have no clue why I do, I just love them! I have received our Engagement picture disc, but when I got home I could only upload a few off of the disc. It has some type of error on it. So out of 150 I got about 60. SO out of those I picked out the ones we liked. Then went back through and changed some to Black and white. Have I told you I am obsessed with Black and white Pictures? :) Well here are a few I turned to black and White and some with a hint of color which I LOVE also! Just so you know Heather from Shutter Happy Studios took all these pics!

Bye Bye House!

I just realized I have not blogged about my house. First I need to tell you our house caught fire on November 14, 2004. The house was not burnt down, but it was burnt in the inside and was not safe to live in. The basement was where the 1st fire started (yes I said 1st). So in that fire everything got smoked and water and soot damged. From then everything was stolen, and I mean everything, aluminal siding, air conditioner, all the cooper wire, pipes, tv, cd's, dvd's, my guitar, everything! So since then our claim with State Farm was denied because we when we left that night we took out cat with us, which we always took the thing with us everywhere. So fast foward to Labor day weekend 2007. The whole family was at the Homecoming carnival in Bethalto. about 9:00, Jordan, the boys, and I drove by the house to go home, and got home mybe 10 minutes later. As soon as we were home we put the boys in their beds, they were already asleep, and I put pjs on. I just got my pjs on and my mom calls and says the house is on fire again. Again can you believe it! My house was on fire again! I put some clothes on and drive to the house another 10 minutes away. I got about 1 mile from the house and I could see a glow above about where my house would be, and all this smoke. I parked my car at the end of my street and see the whole house on fire. This time the house did not burn down completely but unlike last time we could not enter the house, all windows were broken out, the ceiling fell, it was bad. So fast foward to Dec 11, 2007 we have decided to rebuild the house and get it going while we are in the process of sueing state farm. So on Dec 11 the start to tear down our house. The house was down within 30 minutes of them starting. By December 14 the house was gone, the basement gone, and the hole filled. So I have pictures of the house from before the tear down and while the tear down. They are suppose to cut down a huge tree in the side lot next to the driveway and then start digging the hole for the new house. So here are the pics.

Snow, Snow Everywhere

So this is SNOW everywhere! I love snow, but I hate the coldness, and not being able to drive in it! This morning the boys woke up and saw the snow and immediatly wanted to go outside and play. So Jordan and I got them dressed and let them out. Brayden was like oh wow this is cool, untill his hands got cold. Chase just played and played and played. Since Brayden was cold we all came in and the Boys drank hot cocoa. Then after Brayden went to take nap Chase and Dad went back out to finish our SNOWMAN! Here he is!

Isn't he cool? He's got paintball eyes and nose and a stick mouth and arms! He is our first family snowman (even though Jordan built him mostly). Chase is so proud of him he has to tell everyone we built a snowman! Hopefully tomorrow we can go sleding with Nathan and Nucle Todd!

13 days

It's been 13 days since my last post, but not a lot happening. We finally got our cd of our engagement pictures Wednesday, but the cd was broke and I was only able to half of them off the CD. So in the long run I am still waiting on another CD from our photographer. I was so disappointed that it did not work, I was hoping to make another photobook for my GG with the pics.
Yesterday I had to spend 2.5 hours at the hospital with Chase. He has purple eye a.k.a. Pink eye. That was not fun, I was trying my best to keep the little bugger under control. I tried everything games, candy, anything and everything. Finally they called us back to what they call Fast Track as he was about to run wild. This all could have been avoided if our darn doctor was in the office yesterday, or if the Insta clinc would have seen him, but no I wasted 2 house at the ER.
As for the wedding process things are going go, instead of DIY flowers, my mom has talked me into paying someone to do them. So for the last 2 weeks I have been looking for someone to do the flowers for the wedding. I also trying to decide on centerpieces for the receptions. I got some really cool ideas in my mind, just if I can pull them off.
By the way there's only 13 days till Christmas. I have most of our shopping done. Just have to pick up a few little items. To everyone not done Happy Hunting!


Happy Holidays!

It has been almost a week since my last blog. I have been kind of busy. Lot of homework and things for the wedding and the boys. Chase is having his Christmas program this Tuesday, he is so excited. We had a meeting with his teacher and he needs to go to speech to help him out for a little. Hopefully this will help a lot. This week I also meet with 2 florist about flowers for the wedding. Both seem t be giving me really good deals. I liked one's ideas, she seemed to like my idea's too but felt a little rushed off by her, the other just seemd to not really be interested in what I really wanted, but also had great ideas. So we'll see how that goes. I also want to make some Pomanders like above picture, but flowers to match my flowers. So that is it for now.
